| Bush pilots and rag-and-tube taildraggers are an indispensable part
of the fabric of Alaska. You can learn to fly one of these unique
airplanes by getting your tailwheel endorsement in Mustang Air's own bush
plane: a Piper Super Cub. Training will average 10 hours in the air
and 5 on the ground to meet the joyous challenge of flying a plane with
a wheel in the back. The challenge involved makes the achievement
that much more satisfying.
The typical cost range for a tailwheel endorsement is $1200 to $1400
depending on the frequency of your training.
