| Mustang Air offers FAA-approved Laser Grade testing for written exams. Laser Grade computer software offers on-screen display of all diagrams, charts, figures, and graphics necessary to complete questions. Another feature is the on-screen, menu-driven calculator. Applicants may prefer to use their own calculators and an approved aviation flight computer during examinations. | These required examinations are designed to test pilots knowledge of aircraft systems, airspace, navigation, communication procedures, weather, aerodynamics, and interpretation of charts, tables and instruments. Laser Grade tests are $90 (plus tax) and require a designated test proctor, on staff, to be present to administer the test. |
